Substitute Cleaner at Billströmska Folk High School

Västra Götalandsregionen, the largest folk high school authority in Sweden, manages six folk high schools: Billströmska, Dalsland, Fristad, Grebbestad, Göteborg, and Vara.

We conduct education and folk education by allowing participants to take general courses to gain qualifications for higher studies or profile courses where they can deepen their knowledge in a special area. There are about thirty longer courses to choose from. At most of our schools and at the administrative level, we also run various projects in a range of areas. The administration also includes Validering Väst and the VIA assignment, which supports individuals who are further away from the labor market. We aim to create opportunities for individuals and society by working for security, participation, and future confidence. Many say that their year at folk high school was the best year of their lives. Folk high schools make a difference and help people find their future.

Billströmska Folk High School, with about 150 students, offers a general course with the possibility to focus on music and art. Additionally, there is a special course in the form of an advanced music line, a natural science foundation year, and healthcare education. The school’s boarding facility accommodates approximately 90 participants. The school also offers short courses and conference activities. In total, we are about 35 employees working in teaching and service.

Description and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a substitute cleaner for the school. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, common areas in the school environment, and the school’s boarding rooms.

Qualifications

You have documented previous experience working with cleaning in a public environment. You are meticulous, communicative, and service-oriented. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
